What is your favorite thing about Lily and Pandora, andย what makes themย so special?
Lily thinks she is a tiny butterfly lap dog (45lbs), and Pandora thinks she is a gigantic dog (25lbs). People think poodles are divas, but these two girls love nothing more than to play fetch in the mud.
Is there anything else youโd like to share about your dogs?
Pandora came to us when her breeder began seeking a family for her that could accommodate her severe anxiety. She bonded very strongly with our goofy Lily, who never EVER meets a stranger and is automatically best friends with everyone. Together they are making strides at letting Pandora know that new people are okay! She no longer barks at people walking in the park and often plays fetch with new people at the dog park.
Why do you love animals in general?
My dogs have improved my mental health by leaps and bounds. They make sure I stay active so that I keep them well exercised, and they cuddle with me when I am stressed out. I totally support the emotional support animal movement and I think that an animal should always be considered as part of the treatment for mental health conditions.
