How old is Gus Gus?
We aren’t sure of his exact age, but we think he’s about 15.
What is your favorite thing about Gus Gus, and what makes him so special?
He has a puppy-like personality, despite all he’s been through. He’s defeated heartworms, endured multiple disease processes, and ultimately abandonment. The group that was supposed to help him refused to, so staff members at the Pet Clinic of Martinsville and Pet Clinic of Rocky Mount (Virginia) gave him a second chance with their love and care. He is currently battling liver cancer, but has a forever home for as long as he’s with us. He’s been in my family for over a year, each day demonstrating more joy and energy than the day before. Even though his time is limited, he seems very happy.
